Honor
The
air smelled of humiliation and slaughter
Swirls of death and
Ear splitting bellows of hate and rage
paints the harem red
as its women brayed for mercy
defiled and piled in its darkest corners
Swirls of death and
Ear splitting bellows of hate and rage
paints the harem red
as its women brayed for mercy
defiled and piled in its darkest corners
The evil choked the white concubine, so she wiped
A film of sweat from her head and tensed feet
Arrayed in her natural glories she took her spot.
As a gore drenched foe took his spot behind,
sword in hand and stunned by her nakedness.
--
She pressed her lips on the ground where she was to die
the molding wood creaked softly
she eyed it with a deep longing; her special spot
Then, with a sharp inhale, she looked up
as if caters her face heavenward for divine appraisal
Taunting the perfection of the Heavens
She uttered a "boy's" name, tasting it on her tongue
Then a wet gleam,
released a stinging spray
Her spine crumbled and
her insides fissued out with a terrifying violence
The naked carcass slid down mournfully, unabashed,
Heat seiz'd upon the foe's frame, choked him with fantasy
He dropped his blood- greased blade--
With a prayer
His hands clasped together,
and tugged his cloak over the quivering pile
as if she was his ailing daughter
He made a long bow in silence
and strided over the corpse he just made
his fingernails between the shafts of hair, and
the thrilling head, its mane of hair soaked in a gory mess
Was pitched upon his spear like a flag
and he found his comrades,
unified and strong as a herd of demons,
who greeted him with yelps of surprise
Hurling a hideous uproar that offended the endless heavens
